  • Not just a pretty dress.

Reformation’s sustainable dresses come in super flattering silhouettes that work for whatever party, wedding, brunch, date thing you have to go to. We don’t play favorites and make midi dresses, mini dresses, silky dresses, comfy dresses, lots of dresses. They’re sustainably made in different patterns, lengths, colors, styles, sizes, and with a lower carbon footprint.

How are Reformation dresses made sustainably?

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do--including the fabrics we source like TENCEL™ Lyocell, linen, FSC certified viscose, and more. TENCEL™ comes from Eucalyptus trees, which take only half an acre to produce one ton of fiber. Its closed loop production means 99% of the non-toxic solvent is reused. Linen is also a big deal because it’s made from the flax plant and basically uses no water and emits ¼ the carbon as cotton per pound of fiber. Viscose—AKA rayon—is a man-made cellulosic fiber made from wood pulp. Reformation is committed to ensuring that all of our forest-based products come from sustainably managed forests.
