London Men’s Fashion Week wrapped up yesterday and up next is Milan men’s collections (6/27-6/25), also know as skinny-utopia. The final add to my “favorites-list” of the London collections is MSGM this collection isn’t for the structured tailored summer serious guy. Of all the shows this is the most relaxed, creative and unexpectedly contains some luxury pieces. Though, the bare bones of this collection is obviously “skater-boy” this collection stands out with its spectacular jackets and fascinating print choices. Its like a hodgepodge of next year’s fashion trends relaxed. The tailoring is still precises, the summer fun theme is kept with the tie-dye, reptilian and nature prints as well as the silhouettes are pliable. The other shows presented a lot of layering and more so fall-esque garments, over looking all the reissues of hyper sexual 90’s themes, vintage concepts and non heat friendly textiles. I just appreciate how this collection has a youthful easy vibe that is what most expect out spring/summer fashion. Save the over dressing for fall/winter when it counts.
I am really liking the colors!
