Roadtrip A Lá Mode

30 Sep

Notice how there’s always a gargantuan amount of information from “stylish” people about how to fly chic?

Well, what about “Roadtrip Mod?”

I’m traveling to my hometown of Dallas, TX today by car. This weekend will be filled with family, friends & fun the minute I park.

So I have to be dressed and ready from go.

Driving style is as important as flying style just a little more thought involved.

Yes, you still need to be comfortable as you do when flying however, with driving not only is comfort key but readiness, versatility and style are major requirements.

He’s a break down of my roadtrip attire to serve as a references on your next roadtrip.

Since most of you fatties relate to food how about thinking of “Roadtrip Mod” making as a slice of pie a lá mode (mouth & eye watering without the calories.)

Crust: No one wants to be bound by their garments while traveling so no matter what the season a nice pair of cargos are ideal whether short or long. They are on trend, spacious and can be dressed up or down.

Filling: A thin fun or casual tee is awesome because when u get to your destination you can change into some jeans and head out with your party or throw on some sweats and head right to bed if your arrival time is later than planned.

As well as a jacket, sometimes those night drives get chilly or your roadtrip buddy may like the a/c a tad bit too high.

An athletic shoe is best incase you have to get out due to a flat tire or walk to get fuel since you were too busy belting out ballads to see that sign you passed read last fuel stop; 50 miles.

Toppings: No ensemble is complete without the proper add-ons. It’s perfectly ok to add a little razzle dazzle to you roadtrip outfit no necklaces because of the seat belt though, some arm and eye candy is favored.

There are ways to be comfortable still looking presentable. Driving requires a lot of getting in and out the car, people won’t know you’re driving a far distance they’ll just know you look like a common vagabond so dressing appropriate is what helps distinct between the two.

Make sure all you’re clothes fit.

Nothing is more uncomfortable than driving dressed as a fat sausage stuff pig.

What do you think of my “Roadtrip Mod” look?
