I just sold my dinning-room table today because after viewing all these shows during Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Fall/Winter 2013-14 there really isn’t any need for it. I am swearing off food period. I need to be as thin as possible to try all these layering looks next fall/winter.
Robert Geller showcased a lot of leather and rubber for his spring collection but went in there opposite direction for his fall collection. This show had a Charlie Chaplin-esque-emo-city-slicker feel to it. Though, I’m more partial to structured aesthetics Geller’s collection managed to incorporate very nice craftsmanship in grunge like garments with rich knits and accommodating tailoring while not steering away from his alternative aesthetic. I see myself wearing some of these pieces out with friends on the weekend. The tops and hats will pair well with a good pair of skinny distressed denim and hunting boots. The looks below are solid but if you want to see more click the link for the full runway show.

Great willpower to be able to totally abstain from food.
Not will power…fear.
